Angel of Mercy (a mio padre).
… risuoni l’arpa della futura pace. da “Carte sparse e dimenticate” - (1956 - 1976) - raccolta inedita Angel of Mercy (to my father). Of the closed book of the life where the hand wrote misunderstood words loosened the bindings the Angel of Mercy it allows to slowly flow under the eyes short trembling words as the imperturbable candle that dissolves it and what in smoke soon it disperses. Since flies away in a sky of red flooded sunset what more nobody stayed to hold him company sometimes in the long loneliness of the evening leaned above the thoughtful writing desk I still heard him spread in the air his poetry in a crescendo of sadness up to that the light in the dark disappeared. . . . Since flies away in a sky of red flooded sunset what more nobody remains to hold him company sometimes in the long loneliness of the evening leaned above the thoughtful writing desk I hear him spread in the air his poetry, softly in a crescendo of melancholy until when nearby the light in the dark disappeared. Who was? the passer-by will ask him among so many graves and so much people it is ended up not knowing him more perhaps an artist, a great, a vague spirit what has also lived the endless spaces while with the open eyes in a bed of darkness it looked for the light in a blinded world. With the night is known the shades die penetrate in the endless obscurity to hide to dark every thing every hope as it disguises on the face of whom is not anymore and what the dance of the flame above the candle doesn't illuminate, that to run after it, serves to nothing that it won't stop it, by now has gone away. Yes, He was a man word in the silence of the create poetry written with the pen of goose on paper parchment that soon it will make yellow but it is not of the song that is wanted here to celebrate how much of the warning that has left: "That there is not justice where the voice it keeps silent where liberty is only apostasy." What does remain of it? a headstone under a twisted pine that folds up a worn-out registration on the naked stone what the Angel of Mercy without saying of the closed book of the life loosened the bindings, law ancient words premonitory of a something that hopes won't be thoughts to be horrified. . . . While among the branches of the pine by now is heard grieved the strong chiù of a robin that asks to the Angel of Mercy to hold back the cosmic sonority of the spheres so that the music finds again the song what harbors finds again the people what of new hope finally… … play again the harp of the future peace.
